About Thömus
Thomas Binggeli founded Thömus AG in 1991 at the age of 17 under the name "Velo Service Oberried" on his parents' farm. In addition to smaller and local commitments, Thömus AG supports the promotion of cycling in Switzerland. Part of the commitment since 2018 is the cross country professional team Thömus RN Swiss Bike Team around team leader and world champion Ralph Näf, as well as the team Thömus RN Youngstars to promote young mountain bike talents. Both teams are very successful on the road, led by multiple World Cup winner Mathias Flückiger, who celebrated the most successful season of his career so far in 2021, which he crowned with winning the overall World Cup after silver at the World Championships and the Olympic Games.
